Wee Boon

Wee Boon is a practitioner, lecturer and trainer in the software development, data science and academia fields. He has more than 8 years of experience in software development, course consulting and lecturing. During his corporate career, he specialized in delivering effective systems for companies to digitalised their businesses. During his academic career, he has taught many outstanding students, including scoring top of the world in institutions that offer programmes locally and globally.

He has hands-on experience in the data research industry, with practical experience in data analytics and taking on many responsibilities in areas such as systems development, information technology resources management, procedural improvements, and operational controls.

As teaching has always been one of his societal responsibilities, he started his career in academia at Singapore Institute of Management as an associate lecturer. He teaches students pursuing IT-related degree and postgraduate diploma courses.
