Biography

Dr. Vikas Arya is a doctorate in Digital Brand Management and currently associated with Rabat Business School, Morocco as an Assistant Professor-Marketing area. He is founder (Director) of Blueforskning Research Academy, and conference chair of International Conference on Excellence in Marketing & Tourism Management (ICE MTM).

As a research scholar, he has presented his research work at more than 45 reputed international conferences, including EGOS at Copenhagen Business School-Denmark, American Marketing Science 2020 Conference (AMS-USA), and going to present his work at American Marketing Association Winter Conference 2021 (AMA-USA). Prof. Arya is currently editing four special issues of International Journals listed in Scopus &/or ABDC category such as; International Journal of Law & Management (Scopus -Q1), International Journal of Spa & Wellness (ABDC), World Review of Science Technology and Sustainable Development (Scopus + ABDC) etc. And, edited seven special issue of International Journals listed in Scopus &/or ABDC category in last three years. He has published papers in reputed journals such as International journal of information management (ABDCC-A Star) -IF 8.2, Computers in Human Behavior (ABDC-A – IF 6.2), Journal of Retailing and Consumer Studies (ABDC-A) – IF 4.2, and Journal of Global Information Management (ABDC-A). He also has papers in ABDC-B, and more than 16 papers published in reputed journals listed in the ABDC/Scopus category.

He has imparted various workshops/ training program to polish the skills of academicians and corporate employees’ on “how to use social networking sites for personal branding and networking”. He has delivered a talk on various other topics for prestigious universities like; Delhi University, OP Jindal University - Haryana, Jammu University - Jammu; Chandigarh University - Punjab; Rama University - Kanpur; Aliah University - Kolkata; D Y Patil University - Pune etc.

He is expert on data analysis using SPSS, AMOS, ADANCO, SMART_PLS, Process-macro, NodeXL, and Nvivo, and he has trained more than 1000 research scholars in last 2-3 years for data analysis. His core research and teaching interests are in Consumer Behaviour, Brand Management, Personal branding in Virtual-world, Marketing Communication, Destination Branding, Destination Tourism, Digital Mobile Apps’ marketing, Brand Building using virtual platforms, and Communication in Health Care. For his significant research contributions, he recently received the “Best Young Researcher” award from Global Education and Corporate Leadership Awards -2018.
