Tomas Farchi

Professor of Organisational Behaviour at IAE Business School

Biography

Tomás Farchi is Professor in the Department of Organizational Behavior at IAE Business School. In addition to his position at IAE, Tomás Farchi is a visiting scientist at the University of Oxford and a recipient of a fellowship from the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR, UK) to study new forms of knowledge coordination in biomedical research centres. Farchi holds both a Ph.D. in Management and an M.Sc. in Management Research (Distinction) from the University of Oxford, an MBA (Magna cum Laude) from IAE BusinessSchool and a Licentiate Degree in Communications (Distinction) from Universidad Austral. His professional experience includes project management at Aja Espil y Asociados (associated with Hill & Knowlton Inc), CETECO and CCR Market Research. As part of his Professor Director Research, Farchi has worked closely with the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement, the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), Oxford, Cambridge and UCL Biomedical Research Centers, and Oxford University Hospitals.

The results of his research have been published by leading international publishers such as the Journal of Product Innovation Management and The International Journal of Innovation Management.
