He obtained his degree at the University of Economics of Budapest in 1996. He also became CFA Institute Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) between 1999 and 2001, then obtained qualifications in the internationally recognised CAIA Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst programme (CAIA) in 2011.

As Bond Portfolio Manager, he was responsible for the management of the country’s foreign exchange reserves and investments at Magyar Nemzeti Bank from 1996.

He dealt with the sale of bonds and derivative instruments and investment counselling in the London office of Morgan Stanley Investment Bank for institutional investors, central banks and supranational institutions from 2002.

He was Deputy Head of Department of Raiffeisen Bank’s Treasury function from 2006, where he led the shares, bonds, foreign exchange and structured products sales function of the bank.

He has been Executive Director of the Executive Directorate for Money and Capital Markets of MKB Bank Zrt. from 2015. His responsibilities include assets and liabilities management, own-account trading activity, money and capital market sales, investment services management, and supervision of the banking relations and bond issues of the bank. As guest lecturer at the Central European University, he has been teaching a course on Investment and Capital Markets since 2011.

He is arbitrator of the Permanent Arbitration Court for Money and Capital Markets.

He is founding member of the Hungarian member organisation of the CFA and member of the Technical Committee of the Hungarian Forex Association.
