Presentation
Since 2012, I have been working in my own NGO, Mellem Education, giving trainings in Conflict, Democracy, Self-Reflection, using experiential learning methodologies. I found there was a need for this work not just in the NGO world but also in Management Education, where students also learn about social responsibility. The question, however, is how is responsibility ''learned''? From my experience giving workshops, it is not effective if learned as a theory or a concept but needs to be a process of questioning and reflecting, especially on areas where borders are drawn and ''the other'' is created. These borders must be, in a sense, ''unlearned''. This often uncomfortable process of getting to this unlearning is what interests me, and how to support this process in order to encourage a greater sense of responsibility among business students.
