Biography

UNSW Business School

Stephanie is a celebrated Australian businesswoman, academic, university lecturer and public speaker, chairing many Australian industry conferences. She brings with her three decades of global experience with focus in the United States, Africa, Australasia, and Mexico. During this time, her expertise in operational excellence and strategic execution has seen companies in industries including manufacturing, education, financial services and healthcare achieve productivity results in excess of $200 billion dollars.

After being recognised as the world's first Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certified through AGSM, she was successively the Commonwealth Bank's program sponsor, joined the AGSM's Master Black Belt certification board, and was asked to join the AGSM faculty in order to further develop leadership in operational excellence for the university's executive education program.

She wholeheartedly lives her belief that improving industry in a manner that is sustainable for future generations begins with unravelling the complexities of business process, simplifying it in a manner to be easily understood and replicable. In her words, "people are the only resource with an infinite return on investment."

Her obsession with understanding process to maximise efficiency and minimise risk in business is also evident in her personal life as a Master Scuba Diver Trainer and internationally decorated martial artist.
