Stefan Sicklinger is the head of division for BigLoop and Advanced Systems at CARIAD SE, the software powerhouse of the Volkswagen AG, where he focuses on developing and deploying a smart data collection fleet. Prior to joining CARIAD. Stefan worked as the chief technical architect for “Project Ingenuity” at Audi, as well as at BMW.

Since 2019, Stefan lectures at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), specializing in master’s programs in the field of design and partitioning of dynamic systems. Stefan holds an M.S. in computational mechanics from Technical University of Munich and a Ph.D. from the Technical University of Munich, where he had his dissertation on “Stabilized Co-Simulation of Coupled Problems Including Fields and Signals”.
