Biography

Fordham University

I am committed to making education accessible, equitable, and transformative for as many students as possible. To this end, I have worked for 10+ years in the US and abroad as a researcher, educator, facilitator, mentor, and writer. I received my PhD in English Literature in 2020 and have taught and published across the public, private and nonprofit sectors.

I was recently awarded the Alpha Chi Omicron Award for Outstanding Teaching at Fordham University, a student-nominated award for teaching that combats racism and promotes social justice. I currently serve on the editorial board of English, a journal of the English Association at Oxford, and as an MLA Bibliography fellow, which allows me the opportunity to shape scholarship in my field. In the past, I have served as a Wikipedia Fellow and as an MLA Connected Academics Proseminar Fellow, which trains PhDs in the public humanities.

As an adjunct instructor at Fordham University and English teacher at Success Academy’s High School of the Liberal Arts, I continue my service to the profession through teaching and scholarship.
