Spencer Utt

Spencer grew up climbing the mountain peaks surrounding Salt Lake City, then promptly moved out to explore more distant horizons. He spent the following decade moving country to country before immigrating to Germany and making Berlin his home and basecamp.

Spencer has been driven throughout his career to build a more connected world through global education. His diverse background includes roles in university administration, global mobility, and leadership development, primarily in start-up companies and programs. In 2016 he completed an MBA in Germany’s Black Forest where he researched disruptive models for international education. With an ongoing thirst for lifelong learning he recently completed a 7-month coding bootcamp in web development.

Spencer enjoys spending time outdoors in the forest near his home, hiking with his dog and foraging for wild mushrooms. He is a classically trained musician and performs regularly with orchestras in Berlin. On weekends, he is likely to be found renovating, gardening, or on a motorcycle excursion.
