Sheng Zhu

Dr Sheng Zhu is a Researcher Associate at the Department of Economics and Centre for Investment Research and Research Analyst of Central China Securities Co., Ltd, an international investment bank. He was formerly Business and Operational Analyst at Anima Asset Management Ltd, Investment Banking Analyst at Haitong Securities Co., Ltd and Associate Consultant at Taikang Insurance Group. Dr Sheng Zhu obtained his PhD from University College Cork, Ireland and has completed all exam requirement of CFA and ACCA. His research interests are in asset pricing, asset allocation, fund performance, economic modelling and monetary policy. He has published research in International Review of Financial Analysis, Journal of Asset Management, Journal of Risk and Financial Management and others. He is the recipient of substantial research grants from University College Cork and the financial service industry.
