Biography

Harvard Graduate School of Design

A senior interior designer, Shannon provides clients with expert guidance on programming, space planning, lighting, acoustics, finish materials, color selection, and furniture specification. For each of her projects, Shannon responds to the program, technical requirements, and project goals with creative design solutions that result in spaces that are as equally functional as they are attractive.

Shannon’s portfolio includes academic and public libraries, K-12, higher education, and government projects, where she often works with multiple stakeholders and diverse program requirements.

Shannon became an interior designer because she loves working with people: both internally collaborating with team members on a project, as well as externally collaborating with clients to understand their needs and help them achieve their project vision. She defines design excellence as a space that is intuitively functional, quietly beautiful, inspiring, and imaginative. Shannon enjoys the integration of architecture and interior design, and the creative and thoughtful merging of the disciplines.
