Serge Besanger

Serge Besanger : Executive Board member, Investor and Chairman at Cleantech Business Angels Serge Besanger is an investor, expert in cyber security and new technology.

He is an executive member of Cleantech Business Angels, the national network of business angels for green growth. The investments are generally made in the following areas: Cleantech, Greentech, Energy, EnR, Hydrogene. It can also attract industries in Biomass, Energy transition, Photovoltaic, Wind energy, Marine energy, and Recycling.

Serge is also a member of the Saclay Innovation Jury. This jury is composed of experts from prestigious schools such as Polytechnique, Centrale-Supélec and others.

He studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is now very active in various associations fighting against rare diseases, such as “Frères de sang” which fights against sickle cell disease.

A genetic disease of the red blood cells which affects mainly the populations of sub-Saharan Africa, Guyana, the West Indies, Reunion and North Africa. For some sickle cell patients, survival sometimes depends on a blood transfusion. Serge Besanger is the president of this association.
