Samuel R. Kuo, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, is a Senior Project Manager at AMAPM, a Los Angeles based project management consulting company. Samuel’s professional background includes design, construction, brokerage and development of commercial and residential projects. Using the IGMP and IPM systems and methodology to collectively bring the team’s effort and focus on achieving individual and collective success, Samuel leads consultants teams & contractors teams to plan, control, coordinate, organize and command the team’s standards, operation, scope and execution from initiation to project closure.
A sampling of Samuel’s projects includes the DreamWorks Animation Lakeside Annex building, Extron new Headquarter office building, New Community Jewish High School building repositioning adaption from a community center into a high school, Xinghai Master Plan at Dalian China, and Goals Soccer Center sport recreation facility. Using IGMP and IPM systems, as a developer, Samuel formed Special Purpose Vehicles (SPE), engaged the team members from the whole spectrum of stakeholders, was focused on aligning individual interest with project goals, and produced consistent positive results for its principals and team members. Samuel’s recent experience includes (i) leading the development team for New World International LLC, a private equity firm based in Los Angeles with $200m in equity asset, (ii) performing feasibility studies and market research on any new leads from internal and outside sources, (iii) planning 500+ condo/ 1,500 parking spaces/ 50ksf of commercial space spanning 5 mix-use properties, with a total valuation of $500m upon completion, and (iii) revamping the company operations from establishing new offices in two locations, and new digital infrastructures, to hiring new members tripling the company human resources, and establishing standard operation procedures for a wide variety of objectives.
Samuel is a graduate of the University of Southern California (BA in Architecture), and Harvard Graduate School of Design (MDesS with a focus on Real Estate Development and Project Management).
