Sagar Regmi

Dr. Sagar Regmi is a Biomedical Engineering Consultant at Madan Bhandari University of Science and Technology Development Board. He holds Ph.D. from School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore (2019). After his Ph.D. from NTU, he worked as a Research Staff at the Faculty of Health Science, University of Macau, China. Subsequently, he worked as a visiting faculty at the Department of Physics, Kathmandu University, Nepal. He is an Associate Fellow of Nepal Academy of Science and Technology. He served as an Editor for Applied Science and Technology Annals, a peer-reviewed journal published by the Research Centre for Applied Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University, Nepal.

He holds an undergraduate degree from Fergusson College, Pune, India (2008). He underwent Summer Internship Program at National University of Singapore (2012). After completing M.Sc. in Physics from University of Pune (2013), he worked as a Research Assistant in Single Molecule Biophysics group in School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, NTU.

His research areas include 1) mechanobiology and regenerative medicine, 2) tumor biology, 3) bionanotechnology, 4) biomaterials, 5) micro/nano-biomedicine, 6) single molecule biophysics 7) targeted drug delivery 8) microfluidics. He has more than 7 publications in high impact journals and google scholar citation of 122. His current research includes promotion, exploration, and utilization of indigenous natural resources of Nepal for biomedical application.
