Biography

Rubén Llop holds a PhD in Economics and Management from the University of Deusto, a PhD in chemistry from the University of Barcelona and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona.

He has also completed the PDD and PDG at IESE, the International Management Program at IMD, the Top Management Program at INSEAD, the AMP at Harvard Business School, the Leading Change and Organizational Renewal program taught by Harvard Business School and Stanford Business School, and He has obtained a Master in International Business Studies at the Center for International Economics.

Former CEO or Managing Director in the United States, England, Portugal, Spain and some countries in South America in various industrial and service companies. He also belonged to various boards of directors, among them the Naturgas and HydroCantabrico one, both in EDP Group.

His main areas of expertise, always in international and multicultural environments, are: Strategic Management, Business Transformation, Change and Crisis Management, Leadership and finally, Contemporary Ethics; He has made various publications (books, book chapters, scientific articles and divulgative articles), related to domestic and international business management and on contemporary ethics.

He is Foundering Partner at a New Entrepreneurial Project and previously he has beed Founder and Director of Transformational Leadership Center and Professor of Strategy, Leadership and People EADA Business School Barcelona and Visiting Professor at Deusto Business School and advises or habitually form national and international companies (including Telefonica, Almirall, Novartis, Medtronic, Boehringer Ingelheim, EDP, Hidroelectrica del Cantabrico, Naturgas, Magnum Capital, Santiveri, etc.).

He is Executive Coach by the European School of Coaching, certified by the International Coach Federation and Practicum Instructor in MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Programme).
