Rodrigo Nunes

Rodrigo Nunes is a senior developer and data scientist on the platform team at RealSelf. With more than 15 years of industry experience in e-commerce, financial and publishing sectors, Nunes worked extensively analyzing massive data sets and finding structure and semantics in text heavy applications for companies like Amazon, Curian Capital and most recently RealSelf, where he’s working toward improving user engagement by leveraging content recommendation and personalization algorithms.

Nunes holds a Master of Science degree from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil and has published work in the area of neural networks and image segmentation. He also taught multiple disciplines in the computer science bachelor degree program at Universidade Luterana do Brasil (ULBRA) in Torres, Brazil.
