Biography

Roberto Pasini has been teaching at the Università di Bologna since 2020. Previously, he has taught in the Department of Architecture and Habitat Studies of the Universidad de Monterrey and served as a Lecturer, Design Critic, and Visiting Professor in Urban Planning and Design at Harvard. His work focuses on the contemporary landscape as the field of interaction of environmental systems, built structures, and cultural dynamics. He has lectured widely on these themes and participated in research projects of the universities of Monterrey, Harvard, and Chiba. Among recent publications, Landscape Paradigms… (Springer 2019) and Symbiotic Matorral (Libria 2019) collect opposite and complementary pages of the same travelogue through the regions of the landscape. Pasini has served as a juror of the EU Prize for Cultural Heritage. He is the recipient of the Premio di Architettura H.C. Andersen of the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca.
