Biography

NUS Institute of Systems Science

Prakash is an Associate Lecturer in Institute of Systems Science, National University of Singapore (NUS-ISS). He taught for various analytics modules at School of Information Systems, SMU Singapore for nearly three years prior to joining NUS-ISS.

He holds a MS degree in IT in Business Analytics from SIS, Singapore Management University (Singapore) and a B.Tech degree in Information and Communication Technology from DA-IICT (Gandhinagar, India).

He started his career as a software engineer and worked for a major IT firm in India for many years. He was a part of teams that developed web based applications powered by large data pipelines for business analysis & reporting on a day-to-day basis.

He also worked as a research scholar (intern) for TCS-iCity labs at SMU working on web scrapping, text mining, sentiment analysis and dash-boarding.
