Biography

I started Bringing Out the Best Coaching to help clients do as I have done--learn from life experiences and overcome obstacles to success. I will guide you through your journey to recognize and turn challenges into opportunities, and gain the resilience to move forward stronger than before.

Whether it is as a parent of challenging and special needs children, an adult child supporting aging parents, part of a couple facing financial stress, I have lived and embraced it all and learned some important lessons and skills along the way. I bring to my coaching practice professional experience and skills gained from over three decades innovating in higher education, connecting leaders to nonprofits, accelerating startups and advising founders. I bring empathy, curiosity, insight and humor to every situation.

I am a lifelong learner and am working toward certification by the International Coaching Federation. I have degrees from Brown University, MIT and the School of Hard Knocks. I have been a recognized leader since serving as captain of the school safety patrol in fifth grade and starting the girls soccer team in high school. I am passionate about bringing out the best in everyone and building teams where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.
