Dr. Paul Lynch currently serves as the assistant superintendent for finance, operations, and information systems at the Lynbrook Public Schools. Before assuming the role of assistant superintendent, he was the District's director of communications, technology, and library-media services for four years. Prior to coming to Lynbrook, Dr. Lynch was associate superintendent for public policy and government programs at the Archdiocese of New York where he was responsible for executive and legislative advocacy at the national and state levels as well as the day-to-day implementation of $75 million of government funded services for over 200 schools in ten counties, including three New York City boroughs.

A seasoned educator, Dr. Lynch has over 14 years of K-12 teaching experience in English language arts, including four years as an English department chairperson where he was responsible for the supervision and implementation of instructional strategies aligned to the New York State English Language Arts Standards. He was the first director of instructional technology for the Diocese of Rockville Centre. He authored the Diocese's first comprehensive plan for educational technology and provided educational leadership and technical expertise to over 50 schools with a particular focus on the integration of technology into the curriculum.

Dr. Lynch has had a long association with Fordham University. He began his graduate studies toward administrative certification in 1999. He entered the doctoral program in 2002 and was awarded the degree in 2006. He began teaching in Fordham's Graduate School of Education in 2004 and continues to teach courses in strategic planning and change, educational research and program evaluation, political factors in education, public policy, and school governance. He regularly serves as a member of doctoral dissertation committees.
