Patricia Murakami

In her role as Executive Assistant to the Executive Director, Patricia Murakami manages the Center’s Advisory Board meetings and events, and supports the Executive Director’s goals in expanding the Center’s visibility on a local, national, and global scale. She also supports the Center’s programs and events in all its focus areas. Murakami completed her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Santa Clara University, and studied Higher Education Management also at SCU. She resided in Tokyo for over 10 years, during which time she developed curriculum for and taught Business English to executives transitioning to life abroad. She also was licensed by the School Board of Tokyo as lead instructor and developer of a program designed for elementary through middle school students facing the challenges of expatriation and repatriation. In 2001, she joined the SCU community staff as Program Coordinator at SCU Law.
