Founder and CEO at GoParity
My experience and deep interests:
I am based in: Lisbon
I am a Portuguese environmental engineer and a dedicated entrepreneur.
I have worked in the European Parliament as an advisor for energy and environmental policy (BE), as an innovation consultant in Spain and Portugal and as a project manager for large renewable energy projects before I became an entrepreneur.
I have started five companies and already exited one. The project I am most dedicated to now is GoParity, a crowdlending platform for sustainable development projects. I also co-founded (and am currently president of the board) Coopérnico, Portugal’s first renewable energy cooperative.
I lived in Brasil, Belgium, Spain (and Portugal of course) and in 2008 I left my job in the EU Parliament to go backpacking through South America. It lasted 9 months. I guess that’s what I like to do the most, unfortunately, it is not that easy anymore, but I still get to enjoy a mix of work, holidays and surfing vacations.
