Biography
Narendra Singh is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Business. Prior to joining Nazarbayev University, he was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Indian School of Business. He has also worked as a Scientist at Defence Research and Development Organization, Government of India.
He received his PhD in Operations Management from Georgia Institute of Technology. He also holds an MBA in General Management from XLRI (India) and an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Jaipur (India).
Narendra’s research interests are in supply chain management, closed-loop supply chains, and new product development. His current research focuses on studying challenges faced by firms in managing used products and the implications of offering remanufactured products. His research has been published in journals such as Manufacturing & Service Operations Management and Production & Operations Management.
Narendra’s teaching interests are in operations management, supply chain management, and project management. He has taught Project Management, Operations Management, Management Science, Total Quality Management, and Lean Operations
