Biography

Nandini is a doctoral candidate at IIM Bangalore, working on analysing digital footprint data using Reinforcement Learning models. Her work has wide-spread implications in designing and improving digital marketing strategies for B2C and B2B firms with uncertain customers and dynamic environment. Her methodological expertise is in Statistics, Optimisation Theory, Machine Learning and Stochastic Models. Prior to this, Nandini holds a bachelors degree in pure Mathematics and a masters degree in Operational Research along with brief stints in risk analytics and retail analytics. She is also a freelance consultant and teaches corporate courses on big data analytics. She was featured by Humans of Analytics as a woman in analytics to be followed.

Nandini was the recipient of the prestigious Tata Motors Fellowship for research and is also associated with ISB Hyderabad as a DIRI Fellow.
