Dr Mi Pan is a researcher and engineer with a background in construction engineering and management, control science and engineering, and safety and risk management. She is currently a Research Assistant Professor and the Research Manager of the Centre for Innovation in Construction and Infrastructure Development at the University of Hong Kong’s Department of Civil Engineering.

Her research is centred upon the study of new technological solutions and theory developments in innovating for future building and construction, mainly focusing on construction automation and robotics, modular construction, sustainability and zero carbon building.
