SDA Bocconi School of Management

Massimo Marinacci is Professor in the Department of Decision Sciences of Bocconi University, which he chaired from 2013 to 2019. Since 2011, he holds the AXA-Bocconi Chair in Risk.

He started his academic career in 1996 as assistant professor in the Department of Economics of the University of Toronto. In 1998 he was promoted to associate professor in the Department of Economics of the University of Bologna, and, in 2000, to full professor in the Department of Statistics and Applied Mathematics of the University of Torino, which he chaired from 2003 to 2009. He is fellow of the Econometric Society. He has been fellow of the Collegio Carlo Alberto from 2005 to 2009, and he is fellow of the Dondena and IGIER research centers of Bocconi University.

He earned the Laurea in Economics from Bocconi University in 1989 and the PhD in Economics from Northwestern University (USA) in 1996.
