Marlene Cornelis

Marlene is a freelance editor and writer, and also publishes a food blog. Her previous career experience includes working as a human resources administrator in health care.

Marlene Cornelis provides editing and writing services through her business. As an editor, her major areas of focus to date have been copyright law and food writing. She is also the writer and recipe developer behind a food blog. In her former role as Manager, Human Resources Operational Services at the London Health Sciences Centre, she managed the financial and systems side of human resources. She also played a key role in the development of human resources policies and procedures and served as a member of the corporate policy development committee. Marlene is a member of Editors Canada and Food Bloggers of Canada. She is a past volunteer and current board member for the London Community Resource Centre. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto in political science and French, as well as a Certificate in Communications and Public Relations from Continuing Studies at Western.
