Author and journalist, digital media producer and coach. In the Crossformatics network, Markus holds the threads together and keeps the project running.

Markus wrote for daily newspapers, studied economics in Regensburg and worked in public relations for, among others, BMW in South Africa, Deutsche Bank in Singapore and several advertising and event agencies.

After graduating with a degree in economics, he initially concentrated on radio journalism, later adding television. With his company radioclick.de, he founded the first German-speaking, private B2B online platform for the exchange of radio reports.

Since the 1990s, he has developed numerous journalistic and fictional radio, TV and online formats for private and public media and accompanied them not only as a creative and author but also as a cameraman, sound and video producer, consultant and creative producer. Walsch develops complex cross-media media projects from strategy to operational implementation and also works as a coach and lecturer for content marketing and AI storytelling in higher education and on the open market. As a screenwriter and developer for TV and streaming series, he has been nominated for: International Emmy Award, Rose D'Or, among others

His hobby is comedy: he appears as the telephone horror “Karl Auer” and “Rudi Vogel” on Bayern3 and Bayern1, on Bavarian television and on the cabaret stage. Markus Walsch has two children and lives in Munich.
