Frankfurt School of Finance & Management

Marcus Michel is the founder and managing partner of LightTower Consulting GmbH.

As a banker and graduate in business administration, he completed a multi-year trainee program at the Frankfurt private bank Metzler during his studies at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and then switched to KPMG in the “Financial Services-Audit & Advisory” department.

In 1999 he began his HR consulting career at Hillreiner Consulting in Munich with a focus on financial services. He set up the Frankfurt office for the company and managed it until 2004. In 2005, Marcus founded Michel Consult with a focus on capital markets, private banking and finance. In 2015, he transferred his project and customer portfolio to contagi PERSONAL, where he was initially responsible for the "Financial Services & Real Estate" practice as a partner and from 2020 as a managing partner.

With around 25 years of experience as a personnel consultant, Marcus has a reliable professional network of decision-makers in the areas of banking, real estate and finance.

He is still closely connected to the Frankfurt School as a long-standing active alumnus, completed the Advanced Management Program there in addition to his business studies and teaches full-time MBAs on the topic of “Employability”. Marcus is also a management coach at the European Business School (ebs) and has been an ambassador at AKAD University Stuttgart since 2018.
