Fundação Dom Cabral

Marcelo Nakagawa is Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Insper, FDC, FIA, UNICAMP, Fundação Vanzolini, USP, Instituto Butantan, among other business schools. He is FAPESP's assistant coordinator for innovation programs. He has worked as a consultant for Innovation and Digital Transformation, in addition to giving training and lectures to several large corporations such as AMBEV, Bradesco, CSN, Cyrela, GSK, Itaú, Magalu, Mapfre, Pátria, Sequoia Logística, Sicredi, Stoller, Suzano, Unilever. He was a columnist for Jota, Época Negócios, Estadão PME, Pequenas Empresas magazine, Grandes Negócios, Jornal Brasil Econômico and Harvard Business Review Brasil. He is the author of the books Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Creative Economy (Ed. Senac, 2022), Entrepreneurship: Prepare your business plan and make a difference (Ed. Senac, 2013) and Business Plan: General Theory (Ed. Manole, 2011) and co-author of Innovative Entrepreneurship: How to Create Technology Startups in Brazil (Ed. Evora, 2012), Sustainability & Production (Ed. Atlas, 2011) and Economic Engineering and Finance (Ed. Elsevier, 2009). He holds a PhD in Production Engineering (POLI-USP), a Master's in Administration and Planning (PUC-SP) and a degree in Business Administration (FEA-USP). He was one of the first mentors at Endeavor Brasil, Director of Entrepreneurship at FIAP, Director of Research at Naspers/MIH, Director of Innovation at the Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas (IPT), Head of Research at Eccelera Brasil and researcher at AT Kearney. He has also served as a professor at FGV, ESPM, Digital House, FACCAMP and BM&F BOVESPA. Production (Ed. Atlas, 2011) and Economic Engineering and Finance (Ed. Elsevier, 2009) .
