SDA Bocconi School of Management

Ludovica Borsoi is a Junior Lecturer in the Government, Health & Not for Profit Knowledge Group at SDA Bocconi School of Management. Since 2015, she has been working in the Area of Economic Evaluations and HTA (Health Technology Assessment) of CERGAS (Centro di ricerche sulla gestione dell'assistenza sanitaria e sociale) at SDA Bocconi.

At SDA Bocconi Ludovica has collaborated on several research and education projects in the areas of health technology assessment, economic evaluations, market access and public procurement for medical devices.

Her research activities mainly focus on health technology assessment, economic evaluations in healthcare (cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, cost-of-illness analyses) and patient preferences. She has contributed to an EU project, Mapping NCDs EU-FP7, and she collaborates with the Italian Ministry of Health on several research projects, including the definition of methods for the implementation of the National HTA Program for Medical Devices.

She is the author of various chapters published in the annual report of the Observatory on Healthcare Organizations and Policies in Italy (Osservatorio sulle Aziende e sul Sistema sanitario Italiano - OASI) on the themes of health technology assessment and health spending. She is also the author of various articles published in international (including The European Journal of Health Economics, BMJ Open, Nature Scientific Reports) and national peer-reviewed journals.

She earned a Master of Science in Economics and Social Sciences from Università Bocconi.
