Lagos Business School

Louis I. Nzegwu is Professor of Marketing and Executive Director of the International Business Resource Center (IBRC) at the University of Wisconsin – Platteville (UWP). He is a visiting Professor of Marketing at the Lagos Business School of the Pan Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria. He teaches a variety of marketing courses, including Sales Management, Marketing Management, Marketing Research, and Global Marketing courses, among others.

Nzegwu has authored, co-authored and presented numerous papers; served as paper reviewer and panelist at several state, regional and international conferences, and a consultant to textbook publishers in management and market research. He is a recipient of several teaching excellence awards that include a 2007 University of Wisconsin System – Underkofler Award for Teaching Excellence, in 2007 he was named a Wisconsin Teaching Scholar by the University of Wisconsin System.

In 2002, Wisconsin Governor Scott McCallum recognized Nzegwu as one of Wisconsin’s top academic researchers. As a recipient of numerous external and internal grants, Nzegwu has been honored as a “Wisconsin Idea Fellow” by the UW System Board of Regents for his contribution to the quality of life in Wisconsin through his international activities. In 2006, under his leadership, the UW-Platteville’s International Business Research Center received the State of Wisconsin’s distinguished Governor’s Export Achievement Award.
