Biography

Sebastian LÓPEZ VALLADARES is affiliated Professor in the Language and Culture Department of the ESCP Europe Paris Campus. He teaches the following course: the Spanish Economic and Social Business Environment, Spanish Language for Business, Hispano-American Culture and Civilisations.

Sebastian LÓPEZ VALLADARES was born and grew up in Spain where he graduated with a BA Degree in Philology from the University of the Basque Country. He continued with his studies in France where he obtained an MA Degree in French Literature from the Université Denis Diderot – Paris 7 and a Pre-doctoral Studies Degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris 3. He is currently working on his Ph.D. thesis centred on the politics and management of arts and linguistic policies in the Spanish Basque country.

He has taught Hispano-American Culture and Civilisations, as well as Spanish in other higher education establishments in Paris, including the ISG and the Celsa–Université Sorbonne–Paris 4. Presently he also teaches at the ESCE.
