Lerisa Roberts

Lerisa’s background is one of business, having completed a higher diploma in Business Management in 2005; following which, she has worked in a number of different industries in various senior management positions. Her predominant career background however, is in Engineering, specifically the Oil and Gas industry where she has worked in the UK, Russia, the UAE, France; as well as North and South Africa over her sixteen-year professional career span.

Since 2010 she has been running a consulting business that specializes in various areas of business management; including human capital development, effective team development and executive coaching. Lerisa believes that management theory and management practice cannot be separated. Therefore, after graduating with her masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Liverpool in 2014, she entered the world of academia in an attempt to sew into the lives of business students.

In conjunction with her business consultancy, Lerisa presently delivers freelance tutoring services to a number of Universities in both the UK and South Africa, including the University of Essex Online, London School of Economics and Political Science, and the University of Cape Town where she offers support, guidance and mentorship to a number of undergraduate and post-graduate students globally.
