Biography

Lalan Kumar (Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech. degree in electronics engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Varanasi, Varanasi, India, in 2008 and the Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Kanpur, India, in 2015. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, New Delhi, India.

Prior to joining IIT Delhi, he was an Assistant Professor with the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, Kansapada, India and a Research Fellow with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Between 2008–2009, he was a Software Engineer with a multimedia team with Motorola Bangalore. His research interests include array signal processing applied to acoustics and BCI application.
