Kellogg School of Management
Kieu-Trang Nguyen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Strategy. Her research interests include organizational economics, economics of innovation, and political economy. Her current work focuses on understanding the enablers of firm’s innovation, including leadership’s trust towards employees, government’s R&D tax incentives, and downstream privatization. In other work, she examines favoritism towards firms and hometowns connected to politicians, and studies how cultural and religious beliefs affect individuals' choices and economic outcomes in various contexts.
Kieu-Trang joined Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management in August 2019, after completing her PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics.
