Biography
MIT Professional Education
Mr. Kenneth E. Kolodziej is a technical staff member in the RF Technology Group, where he is pursuing research on wideband electronic and simultaneous transmit and receive (STAR) systems. He was previously an RF Engineer at BAE Systems in New Jersey.
Since joining Lincoln Laboratory, Mr. Kolodziej has conducted research on RF, microwave and photonic circuits, including antenna, radar and communication systems. He is currently designing compact transceivers and RF cancellation techniques for STAR applications. Mr. Kolodziej also teaches an electromagnetics course to undergraduate students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and several "Build Your Own Radar" courses on MIT campus.
He has published more than 20 journal articles and conference papers, and holds several patents in the field of antennas and RF systems. He is a member of both the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques and IEEE Antennas and Propagation Societies, where he serves as a reviewer for several journals and conferences as well as on the steering and technical program committees for the International Microwave Symposium (IMS).
Mr. Kolodziej received his BE and ME degrees in electrical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. His specialties include wideband electronic systems, technologies for STAR, antenna systems, and Education & Outreach.
