UW Professional & Continuing Education
Kenneth Karle has more than 30 years of experience providing professional water resource engineering services throughout Alaska, including hydrologic/hydraulic data acquisition, flood frequency analysis, 1- and 2-dimensional hydraulic modeling, floodplain mapping, scour analysis, erosion protection and fish passage design. He routinely provides hydrologic technical support for Alaskan transportation and energy-related projects, including hydraulic structure design and compliance permitting.
Karle has provided hydraulic hydrologic and hydraulic analyses on rivers throughout Alaska, from Southeast Alaska to the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta, and up to the North Slope. Karle is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer in the state of Alaska. He holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering-Water Resources from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
