Kathy Luckett is Emeritus Professor in the Centre for Higher Education Development and currently works for the Institutional Planning Department, University of Cape Town. She supervises in Higher Education Studies and in Sociology. Her research interests are the sociology of knowledge and curriculum studies with a focus on the Humanities, Africana, decolonial and postcolonial studies; higher education policy on equity, inclusion and multilingualism; and research methods that apply critical/ social realism to higher education.
