Biography

Kashif Zafar is an accomplished transformation leader with extensive experience in leading global teams for data strategy & management, data governance, information architecture, analytics, commercial data, and innovation for global pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and management consulting firms. Currently, he is leading the end-to-end commercial data platform vision at GSK from the business side.

Previously, he worked as director at Pfizer for 16 years with various global leadership roles, and as head of data strategy and governance at Amneal Pharmaceuticals. Kashif pursued a graduate program at the University of Pennsylvania in policy management. Previously, he earned an Executive MBA from Rutgers University in strategy/finance, and a master’s degree in engineering from the City College of the City University of New York - all with highest national honors. As a Visiting Professor, he has also taught 'Strategy' at the Executive MBA program of Rutgers Business School.
