Biography

Jasminka Pecotić Kaufman is a Professor of Law at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Economics and Business - Department of Law. She is Vice-President of the Croatian Competition Law and Policy Association (HDPPTN), Co-Director of ASCOLA South-East Europe Chapter, Member of the Editorial Board of the Yearbook of Antitrust and Regulatory Studies (YARS), Member of the International Advisory Board of the Institute for Consumer Antitrust Studies (Loyola University Chicago), and Non-Governmental Advisor (NGA) for Croatia with the International Competition Network (ICN). Her recent research has focused on the challenges of enforcing competition rules in European post-socialist countries. Professor Pecotić Kaufman’s work has appeared in the Journal of Antitrust Enforcement, the World Competition Law and Economics Review, and the Yearbook of Antitrust and Regulatory Studies, among other journals. She co-authored several books on competition law, including Competition Law in Croatia (2nd ed, Kluwer, 2022) and Competition Law and State Aid Law (in Croatian, University of Zagreb Faculty of Law, 2021).
