Individual Psychotherapy

I work frequently with individuals seeking help for depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. For many, these issues may be long standing and are often interrelated. Individuals who find themselves in a pattern of unsatisfying or painful relationships are likely to benefit from treatment that helps to make sense of these patterns, leaving them with greater flexibility in their relationship choices. Others seeking treatment have found that an old wound, perhaps originating early in life, is exposed or exacerbated by major life changes or milestones, such as loss or child rearing. Regardless of what brings someone to my office, my focus is to understand one’s unique experiences in the context of the interpersonal, social, and cultural influences around them and to work collaboratively toward each person’s personal growth and goals for treatment.

Professional Consultation

I offer professional group and individual consultation services for early career psychotherapists. Joining a consultation group is an excellent way to deepen and enrich your clinical practice, while also expanding your professional network within the field. My approach to facilitating consultation groups is process oriented with an emphasis on self-reflection. Depending on the needs of the group members, didactic material can also be incorporated. If you are interested in joining a consultation group, please contact me to discuss availability.
