Hannes Rusch worked as a postdoc in the public economics group from Sept/2016 through Sept/2019, moving on to become assistant professor in the micro- and public economics department at Maastricht University.

In his research Hannes combines the strengths of behavioral and experimental economics, applied microeconomics as well as evolutionary game theory for studying questions of continuous societal relevance, with a special focus on cooperation and conflict within and between groups.
