Günther Penka studied sports science at TU Munich and human medicine at University of Innsbruck. Subsequently, he returned to TUM as a lecturer at the Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences and now teaches sports medicine at the University of the German Federal Armed Forces in Neubiberg.
