UW Professional & Continuing Education
Grant Gilmore has more than 20 years of experience in the engineering and environmental science fields. He currently serves as a water resource specialist focusing on conservation, habitat restoration and management, education and outreach for the Water Resources and Sustainability Department at the City of Tumwater.
Before working for the city, Gilmore spent close to ten years as an environmental manager for a top-tier consulting firm, focusing on environmental compliance for transportation infrastructure, utilities, wastewater treatment and habitat restoration projects across the Northwest region.
Gilmore holds an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Marine Science and Technology from UCLA Polytechnic School of Science. Gilmore also has a Bachelor of Science in Ecology from Evergreen State College and is a 2014 graduate of the UW Wetland Science & Management Certificate program.
