Biography

Dr Gibson Mudiriza is a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Free State (UFS) in the department of Economics and Finance. His research interests are in the area of regional economic development with a focus on local labour markets, inequality, poverty, and youth well-being.

Academic Qualifications:

  • PhD in Economics, 2018 - University of Cape Town in collaboration with AERC PhD Joint Facility for Electives.
  • MSc in Economics, 2007 - University of Zimbabwe in collaboration with AERC M.A. Joint Facility for Electives (JFE).
