Biography

Alberta School of Business

Franco (Frank) has made presentations to industry stakeholders in Canada, United States and Europe, covering topics such as stakeholder relations, municipal fundamentals and finance for non-financial managers. Prior to his plus 20 years as an educator, his professional experience included auditing, management consulting with a national firm and commercial banking where he developed both his analytical and marketing skills. These experiences allow him to bring forward relevant examples in the classroom.

Expertise Budgeting, non-traditional budgeting, gamification, stakeholder relations and finance for non-financial managers in government and industry

Teaching and Research Interests

Developing a non-traditional budget model that can utilize the advantages while eliminating the disadvantages of traditional budgeting in a dynamic and highly employee engaged environment Developed a model for more effective stakeholder relations Created and researched curriculum that significantly increases the financial literacy of non-financial managers
