Biography

Harvard Medical School

We live in a high-paced world, pulling us in all directions, leading us to feel burnt out and disconnected from other people. For this reason, in my practice, I seek to construct a safe therapeutic space where my clients can slow-down and breathe. My clients have described my style as warm, humorous, candid, and with their best interest in mind. Using a collaborative framework I help my clients cultivate emotional intelligence, deepen honest self-reflection, and increase motivation to reduce stress, improve human connection, and live more meaningful lives.

I am a bilingual (English and Spanish-speaking) licensed psychologist in the state of Massachusetts and New York, and a credentialed National Health Services Psychologist. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston and my bachelor degrees in Psychology and Philosophy from Florida International University.

I completed four years of clinical training rotations and one-year pre-doctoral internship through Harvard Medical School. My training included providing psychotherapy to clients experiencing a range of life stressors and clinical conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, personality disorder, and chronic mental illness. My training culminated in my postdoctoral residency at the Veterans Healthcare System treating veterans who primarily identified as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Gender Diverse. Moreover, throughout my training, I received bilingual instruction and supervision.
