Francesca Ferrè

I have a background in management science and public administration and policy (MSc, MPA, PhD) and I have been trained in biostatistics and epidemiology. I gained a deep understanding of evidence-based health policy and healthcare management in developed countries as Research Fellow at the Centre of Research for Health and Social Care Management (CERGAS) Bocconi University (Milan) and as country expert to the work of the European Observatory of Healthcare Systems and Policies of the World Health Organization (WHO/Europe). My areas of expertise are comparative analysis of health systems and health policy reforms with a particular attention to the process and organizational impact of the adoption and diffusion of medical innovation. I worked in close relationship with life science stakeholders on applied research in the area of Health Technology Assessment & economic evaluation of medical technologies and nutritional programs (including costing, outcome evaluation and budget impact analysis). I am dedicated to develop and disseminate knowledge and actions to support sustainable and equitable access to medical innovation.
