Research Summary

Folashade Soule-Kohndou obtained a PhD in International Relations (summa cum laude) from Sciences Po Paris and is currently a Post-doctoral Research fellow at the International Relations Department of the London School of Economics She is also a research associate at the Global Economic Governance programme, Oxford University. Her research focuses on the evolution of South-South cooperation practices and the politics of aid management and negotiation by francophone west African countries towards China, India and Brazil. She also teaches as an adjunct professor at Sciences Po Paris and INALCO. During her fieldwork for her PhD, she has been a visiting researcher at the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA, Johannesburg), the Research and Information System for developing countries (RIS, New Delhi) and the Instituto Rio Branco (Brasilia).
